Jose Chameleon’s Wife Accuses Him of Domestic Violence
Daniella Atim, wife of Ugandan music icon Jose Chameleon, took to her Instagram to disclose her harrowing journey of domestic abuse spanning 16 years.
Currently residing in a Minnesota suburb with her five children, Daniella shared her story, shedding light on the trauma she endured and her journey towards healing.
“Hi, my name is Daniella. I live in a Minnesota suburb with my 5 children. My faith is anchored in Jesus, his grace, love, and mercy changed everything for me. I am social and love to be around people. I wasn’t social for a very long time, and I am enjoying it now. I am a foodie and I love coffee and hot tea,” Daniella wrote.
Having moved to the US five years ago, Daniella says she sought asylum from various challenges, including domestic violence, saying that despite the challenges of single motherhood, she remained resilient.
“Even though the age I am turning this year sounds too serious, I am choosing to relive my early life while healing my nervous system. I am a beautiful work in progress,” she said.
This revelation comes amidst a backdrop of controversy surrounding the Mayanja family, where allegations of violence have surfaced in the past. Just recently, Jose Chameleon’s brother, Weasel, faced accusations of assaulting his girlfriend, Sandra Tetta.
During this turbulent period, Daniella publicly criticized Chameleon for what she perceived as attempts to mitigate the negative publicity surrounding his brother’s actions. In an Instagram post addressing the situation, Daniella questioned Chameleon’s intentions, expressing concern for Sandra’s well-being.
“Last night Tata Abba video called me. He had Sandra Mulusegere beside him. I asked him why he is taking around a woman flooded with makeup instead of allowing her time away from all the noise to process and rethink her life. He said ‘Mama Abba Sandra tayina tabu’ [Sandra has no problem]. All this, while Sandra constantly wore a big bright sad smile,” she wrote.
Chameleon’s other brother, Pallaso, also made headlines for his involvement in altercations with him being captured in a video physically assaulting singer Patrick Mulwana, known as Alien Skin.
