Ugandan singer Joshua Baraka and prominent media personality Etania Mutoni have been dating for over three years, and the couple is open about their relationship.

Speaking to Gagamel TV, the “Wrong Places” hitmaker confirmed that marriage is the goal, but he is in no rush.

We all pray for that. If you are in a serious relationship, of course that is the goal. I am just giving it some time, and God willing, that will be our goal.

When asked if he could quit music to focus on his relationship or family if his partner asked him to, Baraka was clear that it is not an option.

I do not think I can quit music, and I do not think she could ask me to do something like that.

Similarly, he said he could never ask Etania to put her DJing and MCing career on hold to focus on raising children.

Their busy professional lives are the main reason the couple has not yet started a family.

I do not think I can do something like that to her. That is why we do not have kids, because we are still busy. I cannot do something like that to her because she also has a very bright career ahead of her and she is going to achieve very many things. So I cannot derail her like that.
