Joshua Baraka Promises Big Things with Upcoming Album
Ugandan singer Joshua Baraka has excited fans by announcing that his new album is complete.
He wrote on social media, “This music coming out next… God be with us all… Album done.”
Baraka is one of Uganda’s fastest rising stars, known for his unique mix of Afropop, R&B, and soul.
His breakthrough came in 2023 with “Nana,” which gained millions of streams and included remixes with King Promise, Joeboy, and Bien.
Other notable songs include “Delilah II,” “Belinda,” and “Tewekweka.”
In 2024 he released “Lonely,” a touching ballad, and “Touch Me,” a collaboration with Nigerian producer Krizbeatz and singer FAVE.
This year he released “Wrong Places,” a song that has become a fan favorite worldwide.
He also featured on Bebe Cool’s album Break The Chains on the track “Cheque.”
Baraka has achieved remarkable success in a short time. He was chosen for Spotify RADAR Africa, a program that promotes African artistes worldwide.
He has performed at AfroNation, and his songs have been streamed over 20 million times across all platforms.
