Jovan Luzinda Calls Out Lack of Govt and fan Support for artistes
Jovan Luzinda has called on the government to step up and support musicians, saying the effort does not match what the industry contributes.
The recording artiste pointed out that while the government collects taxes from the arts sector, it still leaves many of the challenges musicians face unresolved.
He also urged fans to play their part by supporting Ugandan music, noting that local artistes need stronger backing as the industry continues to grow.
According to Luzinda, that kind of support can help Ugandan music compete on a bigger stage.
Beyond the industry, he shared a personal habit, saying he always shares his will with close friends so they can carry out his wishes if anything happens to him.
