Jowy Landa Calls for Understanding from Fans Towards Musicians Performing at Political Events

As the political season approaches, fans are paying close attention to musicians, eager to see where their political loyalties lie.

Some supporters expect their favorite artistes to align with their views, while others criticize those who perform at political events.

In response, singer Jowy Landa has called for more understanding, emphasizing that musicians, like everyone else, are simply working to earn a living.

She explained in an interview that the need to make a living often compels artistes to perform at political events, even if it does not sit well with all their fans.

Her remarks came as she defended fellow artiste Vyroota, who has faced backlash for performing at a National Resistance Movement (NRM) event.

While some fans questioned his choice, Jowy Landa argued that musicians should not be judged harshly for seizing opportunities to earn.
