Jowy Landa Disagrees with Spice Diana, Emphasizes That All Musicians Want Hits
Singer Jowy Landa has expressed a different view from Spice Diana regarding hit songs and which artists need them.
Recently, Spice Diana stated on Deep Talk that established musicians do not need hit songs.
According to her, their focus is on sustaining their name, reputation, and legacy.
Jowy Landa, however, disagrees and told Galaxy TV that every musician wants to have a hit song.
Do not be fooled. Everyone wants a hit. Anyone who says they do not need one is just pretending.
She explained that every artiste who goes into the studio and records a song hopes it will become big and successful.
There is no one who releases a song without wanting it to become popular. The songs just fail to blow up.
Jowy Landa completely dismissed Spice Diana’s claim that established musicians do not need hits but pointed out that they may simply not feel the pressure to have them.
She also revealed that music is a very expensive career for one not to desire a hit song.
We invest a lot in music. A good audio recording costs about UGX 1M, and promotion plus videos can cost at least UGX 7M. There is no way you can invest all that and not want a hit.
