Justine Nameere Voluntarily Reports to Police Amid Full Figure Assault Allegations
Politician and media personality Justine Nameere has voluntarily reported to the Central Police Station to address allegations that she assaulted fellow public figure Full Figure.
Nameere explained that her lawyer, Counsel Allan, had previously followed up with police on whether she was required to appear.
On Monday, my lawyer went to the CPS and asked if police needed me for anything, and they said no. I was not satisfied, so I told him to return on Tuesday for an official summon. He came back saying they still did not need me. That is where my confusion came from.
Despite receiving no official summons, Nameere decided to present herself at the police station.
I am a politician and a flag bearer. I did not want any disruptions during election time, so I went to police myself to understand and clear my name.
Her decision follows claims by Full Figure that police were actively searching for her.
Nameere insists she has never been summoned and maintains that the allegations against her are false.
