Kabako Praises Sheebah Karungi for Reviving Ugandan Music

Roden Y Kabako is telling his fans to take a step back and stop pushing him.

Speaking to Sanyuka Uncut, the singer made it clear that music is his passion, not a job he was forced into.

He clarified that when he appears quiet or inactive, is not a sign of giving up, but a sign that he is just moving at his own pace.

My fans, I love you. But please, do not pressurize me. No one forced me into this music industry. I came in because I had a passion. So if you see me quiet sometimes, it is not because I have given up. It is because I am moving on my own terms.

Kabako also gave major props to Sheebah Karungi for breathing new life into the local music scene.

When she came back, eeh, the industry had become dull! Boring! She brought fire again. Let us give her flowers, because my family… yes, my family feeds off Sheebah’s energy. Her presence boosts all of us. So when she rises, we all rise.

Wrapping up, Kabako urged fans to back their favourite artistes without rushing them, promising great music when the timing is right.

So please, support us, do not pressure us. We are giving you vibes when the time is right.
