Kabako Urges Fellow Artistes to Make Relationships Official
Ugandan singer Kabako, real name Yusuf Ssenabulya, has opened up about his Ramadan experience after observing his first Juma prayer of the holy month.
The “Number Emu” hitmaker attended prayers alone, as his wife, Jazira Ddumuna, was not by his side.
He explained that she stayed home to take care of their baby.
My wife is breastfeeding, and that is why she did not come with me for prayers today.
Even so, Kabako showed appreciation for her support and love, while also sharing an update on their relationship.
I also want to thank her for loving me. We successfully held our introduction ceremony, and this year we are planning to have our mega wedding. The Guest of Honour will be Bobi Wine.
Beyond his personal life, the singer also spoke about fasting during Ramadan, noting that the faith makes room for those who are not able to fast.
In Islam, when a person is sick, they are not required to fast. But those who are fine should fast. If you choose not to fast, Allah is the one to judge you.
He then used the moment to send a message to fellow artistes, especially those in relationships but yet to make things official.
Some of my fellow artistes are ready to marry but are pretending. My friends, it is time to leave your comfort zones and make your marriages official. If you don’t, I will push some of you because I can see time is moving and you are getting older.
Through it all, Kabako blended faith, family, and advice as he marked the start of Ramadan.
