Kaboo Talks Productivity and Why Daytime Beats Nighttime in the Studio

Unlike singer Lydia Jazmine, who prefers late-night studio sessions, Ugandan-Swiss music producer Kaboo has revealed that he now favors working during the day.

While on the Ugandan Boy Talk Show, Kaboo explained that age and scheduling have made him lean more toward daytime sessions.

As I get older, I do more daytime studio sessions. It used to be all about nighttime creativity. Now, because of scheduling, it is easier for me to work during the day.

He also shared why nighttime work is no longer ideal for him.

I feel like I can take forever… you know, I work on one thing, one loop, and I want to make it perfect, and it does not matter whether I come home at midnight or at 1 am. But during the day, you know, like in the evening, you want to eat something or you want to go home, so you limit yourself a bit on the time. So I am more creative, more productive when I work during the day.

Kaboo is steadily making his mark in the Ugandan music industry.

He has produced fan favorites such as “Camera” by A Pass, “8 Ball” by Kamanzii and A Pass, “Thursday” by Soundlykbb and Tai Dai, among others.
