Kanye West Reportedly Paying $200,000 Monthly in Child Support
A large child support payment linked to Kanye West and his former wife Kim Kardashian is drawing attention online.
Reports say West, also known as Ye, pays about 200,000 dollars every month following their divorce settlement finalized in 2022.
The former couple share four children together: North West, Saint West, Chicago West, and Psalm West.
In addition to the monthly payment, the agreement also requires West to cover half of the children’s major expenses. These include education, medical costs, and security.
The monthly amount alone adds up to roughly 2.4 million dollars each year.
While many reports describe the figure as one of the largest child support payments involving celebrities, some legal experts say it is difficult to confirm if it is the highest ever recorded in the United States because many divorce settlements remain private.
Even so, the size of the payments continues to spark discussion online.
