Kapeke Declares Himself Male Artiste of the Year for 2025
Ugandan singer Kapeke is not waiting for awards or lists to validate his success.
According to him, he is the artiste of the year for 2025, whether the industry agrees or not.
Speaking to Rewind, the “Kaba” hitmaker confidently said he dominated the airwaves and dance floors, insisting that his music made people jam throughout the year.
Kapeke added that the belief is not just his own.
He claimed that people openly acknowledge the impact of his music, often saying that he truly made the year lively.
When it came to naming the female artiste of the year, however, Kapeke struggled to settle on just one name.
Instead, he listed Tracy Melon and Sheebah Karungi as his top picks.
Kapeke also gave honorable mentions to Vyroota and Ava Peace.
