Kapeke Distances Himself from Fik Fameica Comparisons
Trending singer Kapeke, whose real name is Derrick Nsubuga, has firmly stated that he should not be compared to fellow artiste Fik Fameica.
Despite this, some fans and critics have suggested that Kapeke is following in Fik Fameica’s footsteps or even filling them, especially since they appeal to similar audiences.
The two artistes have even collaborated on the “Shuu” remix.
However, during a recent interview with Galaxy TV, Kapeke made it clear that they are distinct individuals with their own unique styles and paths.
I am not in Fik Fameica’s shoes. The man has made great music. I am also in my own shoes. Do not put me in his business or in his footsteps, because he really does his own thing.
Kapeke emphasized that making good music is his top priority, and everything else takes a back seat.
