Kapeke Reveals His Top Five Artistes After Ava Peace Leaves Him Out
While appearing on Sanyuka TV’s Bigenda Bitya, singer Ava Peace named the artistes she believes are currently the best in the Ugandan music industry.
Placing herself at number one, the “London” hit-maker went on to mention other artistes, including Jowy Landa, Pretty Banks, Winnie Nwagi, Dax Vibes, and Elijah Kitaka.
Her list has since drawn a reaction from first-rising Ugandan dancehall artiste Kapeke, who was not mentioned.
In a media interview, the “Polokoto” singer responded to being left out of the list by suggesting that Ava Peace only mentioned her close friends.
We all know Ava Peace spends a lot of time with Jowy Landa and Pretty Banks. Everyone she named is someone she hangs out with. They are her friends.
Asked to share his own list of top five Ugandan artistes, Kapeke made it clear that despite being left out by Ava Peace, he still considers her among the best.
Surprisingly, when I mention my top five artistes, Ava Peace has to be there. She is my friend. So if I am not on her list, it simply means she listed people she spends time with.
Kapeke then shared his top five, placing himself first, followed by Ava Peace, Dax Vibes, Elijah Kitaka, and Joshua Baraka.
