Karole Kasita Reveals Ambitious Plans to Expand Her Music Abroad
Ugandan singer Karole Kasita has revealed ambitious plans to expand her music career beyond the country’s borders.
The “Yaka” star explained to Rewind that her music is already being consumed outside Uganda, and she wants to tap into those markets.
I want to step out of Uganda because when you look at my music, it does not only play here in Uganda. It plays in different regions. I want to go to those different regions outside the country and expand my music. I want to do shows outside the Ugandan community, in different countries.

This new direction also sees her breaking tradition, especially when it comes to Ugandan concerts.
Normally, artistes hold a major concert in Kampala and then add extra shows outside the capital.
For Karole Kasita, the extras will not just be outside Kampala, but outside Uganda entirely.
I want to make sure that next year, even when I hold a concert, I will not do extras in Uganda. I will do extras in Rwanda, Nairobi, Tanzania. I do not want to do what we always do, like holding the main concert in Lugogo and then doing extras in Mukono or Masaka. I love my people in those places and I will also give them shows, but I also want to step out of the country.
She revealed that she is fortunate to have investors eager to support her ambitions.
I am a blessed girl. I thank God. I have companies that are willing to invest in what I am doing because I am a very great stage performer.
Karole Kasita also confirmed that in 2026 she plans to release a new album and hold a concert soon after.
The album is coming out next year because I also have a concert next year. I want to do them back to back. The concert will be at a bigger venue than the last one [UMA Showgrounds]. My team and I know the venue, and when the time is right we shall announce it, but the date is already set: 29th May.
With these bold moves, Karole Kasita is set to grow her fan base across East Africa and beyond, signaling a major step forward in her music career.
