Karole Kasita Steps Into Promoter Role for Her Serena Concert

Karole Kasita is taking all her concert matters into her own hands.

The Ugandan dancehall star, real name Namulindwa Carol, has confirmed that her concert slated for May 29, 2026, will be held at Kampala Serena Hotel.

What is turning heads, however, is that she has chosen to organize and promote the event herself.

That decision has sparked talk about why she did not leave the job to professional event promoters.

For Kasita, though, handling her own business is already part of how she operates.

Karole Kasita is the promoter. I am organizing my own concert. I am organizing the concert myself because I can. Even when it comes to music, I manage myself. I manage my music, I manage everything, so I can organize my own concert.

Even so, she was quick to clear the air, noting that promoters are not being sidelined entirely.

Instead, she plans to tap into their knowledge and experience, just not in a leading role.

We did not strip promoters of their role. In fact, I will work with them because they are powerful in that field. I will work with them, but not directly or when they are at the front. I am going to work with them and ask for guidance because they know more than me in that field. I will use their expertise here and there.

With the venue set and the plans in motion, Karole Kasita is proving she is as much a business boss as she is a stage star.
