Kasuku Breaks Silence After Shalom’s Arrest Sparks Online Debate

Popular TikToker and YouTuber Kasuku has responded to criticism surrounding his absence during the arrest of his close friend and colleague, Shalom Kaweesi, an incident that sparked widespread debate on blogs and social media.

Reports indicated that Kaweesi was taken to Katwe Police Station, leading fans to question why Kasuku was not seen publicly supporting him.

Many online commentators interpreted his absence as neglect, especially given their long-standing friendship and frequent collaborations.

Appearing on Zubeda’s show, Kasuku dismissed the accusations, explaining that his support began long before the issue became public.

He revealed that he made several phone calls to individuals he believed could help resolve the matter and stayed informed about Kaweesi’s condition throughout.

Kasuku emphasized that physically being at the police station would not have made a significant difference.

Due to prior work commitments, he said he delegated trusted colleagues to monitor the situation and handle any urgent needs.

He further noted that genuine support does not always require cameras or public appearances.

According to Kasuku, much of the criticism appeared personal rather than driven by real concern, insisting that he did everything he could as a friend.
