Kasuku Opens Up on Meeting President Museveni, Sparks Debate on TikTok and Digital Income

Popular TikToker Isaac Katende alias Kasuku has opened up about how difficult it is to make personal appeals to President Yoweri Museveni, even with years of experience building relationships and asking for support through his well-known “Luseke.”

The content creator shared that despite perfecting the art of requesting favors from friends and associates, his encounter with the president did not yield much on a personal level.

Kasuku was part of the panel that interviewed the president during the “Jazz with Jajja” event, an opportunity he described as a major milestone.

He spoke about matters that directly affect him and fellow creators, with focus on digital media and online content creation.

The appearance has stirred debate online.

Some argue that informing the president that TikTokers earn money could lead to government taxation.

His supporters, however, say such acknowledgment helps authorities understand the platform’s value to young people and could result in better policies, clearer structures, and stronger support for the growing digital economy.

In true Kasuku style, he remains unbothered by the criticism.

He maintains that the negativity means little to him, stressing that the experience boosted his profile.

For him, the moment added weight to his CV, placed his work in the public eye, and affirmed that his efforts in digital media are being seen and acknowledged.
