Kenyan Pastor Tells Man “Your Life Has Changed” After Giving KSh 20 (about UGX 600) In Tithe

Controversial Kenyan preacher Pastor James Ng’ang’a is once again making headlines after showing an unexpected act of generosity that has left many people talking.

During a recent crusade hosted by his church Neno Evangelism Centre, the outspoken pastor surprised his followers when he gave KSh 1,300 which is about UGX 37,400 to a man who had only managed to tithe KSh 20 which is roughly UGX 600.

Known for his strict approach and blunt attitude toward those seeking help, this act caught many by surprise.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, Pastor Ng’ang’a is seen pausing during his sermon to interact with the man.

He first asked how much money the man had and whether he had given tithe.

When the man said he had only given KSh 20, the pastor laughed, shared a light moment with him, then pulled out notes from his pockets and handed him KSh 1,300.

He then told the man that his life had changed. The crowd responded with loud cheers and laughter.

What made the moment even more surprising is that Pastor Ng’ang’a is known for refusing to help people publicly.

One of the most talked about cases involved Milka Moraa, a mother of two who broke down at his church while explaining that her house had been locked due to rent issues.

The pastor coldly told her to look for help from Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja or the police.

That incident caused a lot of public anger but luckily Moraa later received support including a new house built for her by the government.

Because of that background many people were left wondering if this recent gesture is a sign that the pastor has changed.

Reactions online were mixed. Some praised him for showing kindness while others joked about the small amount of money saying it could not really change someone’s life.

Still this moment reminded people that even those known for being tough can sometimes surprise you with kindness.
