Kenzo Says Federation Presidency Is Open to All Interested Artistes
Ugandan music star Eddy Kenzo has expressed confidence that any artiste can step into the role of president of the Uganda National Musicians Federation after his tenure.
The decision, he emphasized, largely depends on the interest of the candidates and the trust musicians place in them.
“Anyone is capable, and it will depend on who has the interest. Then the musicians will decide who they see fit for the role. I am not the one supposed to decide for them,” Kenzo said.

The “Sitya Loss” hitmaker shared these thoughts while discussing the possibility of retiring from the federation’s leadership.
He previously stated that once he accomplishes his goals as president, he would willingly step aside to allow others to lead.
Reflecting on his achievements so far, Kenzo noted that many of his objectives have been met, while others are yet to be achieved.
“Rome was not built in a day. As of today, we have been able to lobby for some things, but they still need to be followed up to ensure that they are put in place,” he explained.
