King Saha Salutes Joshua Baraka’s Global Rise, Advises Him to Conquer Local Scene Too
King Saha has expressed support for Joshua Baraka’s rapidly rising music career while also offering him some words of caution.
Baraka, who is currently considered one of Uganda’s biggest music exports, has gained impressive international recognition, recently performing at Afro Nation in Portugal.
In a media interview, King Saha acknowledged Baraka’s success abroad but encouraged him to strengthen his presence at home as well.
I see his work, and I wish him nothing but the best. But they should not hype him too much. It might derail him. He still needs to do the groundwork.
Saha emphasized that while international recognition is important, building a strong foundation locally is just as crucial.
He needs to conquer home even as he reaches for the international stage.
Though Saha admitted he has not followed Baraka’s journey closely due to his relatively recent rise in the industry, he concluded, “Let us watch him closely and see how it plays out.”
