King Saha Threatens to Perform with a Panga to Prevent Stage Invasions
Singer King Saha, real name Mansoor Ssemanda, has voiced his frustration over the growing problem of stage invasions during performances, calling it a threat to artistes.
In a bold statement during a media interview, he suggested that he might start performing with a panga to safeguard his stage and prevent disruptions.
His remarks follow several incidents where artistes have had their sets interrupted.
He cited an event where Lydia Jazmine’s performance was cut short when Alien Skin and his gang stormed the stage.
Saha also referred to a similar incident involving Pallaso, caused by Alien Skin’s gang, noting that such disruptions are becoming increasingly common.
These incidents, he said, undermine the safety of musicians at events, and ultimately their fans.
Saha urged fellow musicians to respect stage boundaries, emphasizing that no artiste should take the stage until the previous act has left it.
He also criticized the police for failing to provide enough security at events.
“All events are supposed to be protected by the police,” he concluded.
