King Saha Threatens to Sue Dr. Cephco Over Defamation, Demands Shs 200 Million in Damages

Popular Ugandan singer King Saha, whose real name is Ssemanda Mansur, is threatening legal action against TikTok content creator Dr. Cephco.

In a letter dated May 6, 2025, lawyers from Wamimbi Advocates and Solicitors, acting on behalf of King Saha, accuse Dr. Cephco of spreading false and harmful information.

The controversy stems from a video posted on May 5, in which Dr. Cephco alleges that King Saha damaged his silver Toyota Noah, registration number UBF 661Q.

However, King Saha’s legal team has dismissed the allegation, stating that the singer was not even in Uganda at the time of the alleged incident.

According to them, he was in Japan, and his travel records, along with eyewitness accounts, support this claim.

The lawyers argue that the video was not only false but also deliberately intended to damage King Saha’s character.

As a result, they claim the video caused the singer embarrassment, emotional distress, and a potential loss of work opportunities.

Moreover, they believe that the widespread sharing of the video on social media has further worsened the situation.

Because of this, King Saha is demanding Shs 200 million in damages, a public apology on all platforms where the video was shared, and a written commitment from Dr. Cephco to refrain from making any further defamatory statements.

Dr. Cephco has been given seven days to comply. Should he fail to do so, the lawyers have warned that the matter will be taken to court.

So far, the TikTok content creator, whose real name is Ismail Ssefuko, has not issued any public response.
