During a chat on NRG Radio, Laika revealed that her time away has been anything but quiet, spending it fully focused on creating new material.
The break also allowed her to work on an album that is now nearing completion.
I was working on an album, and I am still working on it. I am about to release it.
As fans wait for the full project, Laika has already dropped a new track titled ‘Pizza Ewola,’ loosely meaning the pizza is getting cold.
She described the song as one of her strongest releases so far and praised its production.
My current song is very nice and well-produced, done by Banger Boi. It is actually topping most of my songs.
She added that the title carries an open meaning, leaving fans free to interpret it in their own way.
It is self-explanatory. I think I just sang the name “Pizza Ewoola,” so how you use that information is up to you. If you take it as pizza for eating, it is okay.
With new music out and an album on the horizon, Laika appears ready to step back into the spotlight.
