Levixone Responds to Backlash Over Bar Performances: “I Am a Moving Church”

Levixone, one of Uganda’s most popular gospel artists, recently addressed ongoing criticism about his music being played in bars and his performances at events that are not gospel-related.

Some people have questioned whether these activities align with his faith as a gospel artist.

However, Levixone explained that his mission goes beyond the traditional boundaries of where gospel music is expected to be heard.

He added that he does not blame people for critiquing him, as everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

As a gospel artist, Levixone sees his role as an opportunity to reach out to those who may not yet be followers of the faith.

His mission is focused on bringing people closer to Jesus, especially those who are not part of the Christian community.

By performing at events or in venues that are not typically considered gospel-oriented, Levixone believes he is effectively reaching people who might not otherwise encounter his message.

He emphasized that his calling as an evangelist allows him to minister anywhere. For him, the location is irrelevant as long as he is spreading the gospel and connecting with souls in need of spiritual guidance.

Levixone views his work as a “moving church,” constantly on a mission to spread the word of God wherever he goes.

He remains unfazed by the criticisms, believing that his efforts are in line with his spiritual mission of reaching and hooking souls for Jesus.
