Levixone Stands Firm on Performing in Bars to Hook New Souls

Levixone has once again defended his decision to perform in bars and other non-gospel venues.

For years, the gospel singer has faced criticism from some members of the public and the religious community for appearing in places typically associated with secular entertainment.

Despite this, Levixone remains firm, insisting that his presence in such venues serves a greater purpose.

“You cannot hook souls that have already been hooked,” he said, emphasizing the importance of reaching those who are far from the scriptures rather than staying within the comfort of believers.

He grounded his approach in the Bible, which instructs believers to go out and spread the Word beyond the walls of the church.

“If they go there to drink alcohol, then it is very wrong,” he explained when asked whether it is appropriate for gospel artistes to be seen in bars.

“But if they go to spread the gospel and hook souls for Jesus, then it is okay.”
