Levixone Urges Christians to Focus on Jesus, Not Pastors
Gospel singer Levixone has urged believers to stop viewing pastors as ultimate authorities and to redirect their trust.
He emphasized that trust should be placed in Jesus Christ alone, as He is the only one without sin.
Speaking to Sanyuka TV, the “Chikibombe” hitmaker highlighted the dangers of holding pastors to unrealistic standards or using them as the sole measure of faith.
“Pastors are human beings too, and they err,” he said.
“We should stop looking at them entirely as the determinants of what happens in church.”
He also addressed the issue of criticism among Christians, urging both those who criticize pastors and pastors who criticize each other to channel that energy differently.
“I would rather spend time talking about Jesus than talking about a pastor or a fellow musician,” Levixone shared.
For him, the mission of every Christian is to spread the gospel, and the gospel, he reminded, is Jesus Christ.
