Liam Voice Says TikTok Pressure Makes Artistes Rush Music

Liam Voice has explained why fans often wait longer for his new music.

Appearing on NBS After 5, the singer, born Zisabusolo Willy, pushed back against claims that he recently slowed down his releases.

He explained that releasing songs back to back has never been his approach.

The “Voice Boy” prefers giving each song enough time to travel and reach listeners before putting out another.

He also highlighted the pressure musicians face from social media platforms like TikTok, where songs can quickly disappear from the “For You” page after a short time.

He said that pressure often makes artists believe their music has failed.

Still, he believes the Ugandan audience is far bigger than what trends on TikTok, which is why he chooses to let his songs grow naturally before releasing new material.

I have never released music back to back. I have always released my music that way. What I really like most is for my song to reach the person who needs it. TikTok puts a lot of pressure on musicians. Just because you release a song and after two weeks you no longer see it on your For You page, you start thinking that Uganda ends on TikTok. Uganda is big. For me, I always want to give my song time to reach where it is supposed to before I release another one.
