Lillian Mbabazi Explains Her Neutral Stance in the Cindy-Sheebah Drama

Singer Lillian Mbabazi has spoken about the relationship between her two friends, Cindy Sanyu, who is also a member of their girl group Blu3, and Sheebah Karungi.

For years, tensions have existed between the two artistes, and in 2023, they had a musical battle at Kololo Independence Grounds, much to the entertainment of their fans and the industry.

Speaking on their conflict, Lillian said that she never gets involved in their disagreements and allows them to handle their differences as women.

“They are grown women. I am not going to fight their fights for them,” she said.

She also emphasized that she does not believe there is any real animosity between the two artistes, suggesting that fans have created the illusion of conflict between them.

“I will not say that they are best friends, but I will say that, from Sheebah’s point of view or from Cindy’s point of view, they are not on each other,” she explained.

When it came to the battle between the two artistes at Kololo Airstrip, Lillian made it clear that she was not taking anyone’s side in particular but was instead on the side of good music.

Despite being in the same music group as Cindy, Lillian does not let that affect her relationship with Sheebah.

“With Sheebah, I will always support her because, in the last couple of years, she and I have grown very close, and she has been there for me more than many people have. So, my loyalty to her will always stay,” she said.
