Lillian Mbabazi Urges MC Kats to Be Honest About UNMF Support for Fille

Lillian Mbabazi, who serves as Vice President of the Uganda National Musicians Federation, has responded to claims made by MC Kats regarding the federation’s support for Ugandan singer Fille Mutoni.

MC Kats reportedly alleged that the federation had not done enough to help Fille during her battle with drug addiction.

Appearing on Galaxy TV, the Rwandan-Ugandan vocalist dismissed the claims and challenged MC Kats to reflect on the federation’s efforts.

I think that if MC Kats is very honest, he will look within himself and remember everything we have done for Fille. And for us, we are not here to go around telling everyone what we have done for someone. The only problem is that Kats has not been honest. Kats, you better call me because you have not been honest. You understand that we have been there, and for you to come and say we have not, that is a lie, bro. In 2026, let us tell the truth.

She went on to break down the federation’s efforts over the past two years, from backing concerts to facilitating rehabilitation through its mental health department.

Standing firm on her position, Lillian maintained that the federation has been doing the work, adding that many artistes, herself included, have already benefited.

We have been supporting musicians for almost two years now. We have supported many concerts for musicians. Through our mental health department, we have rehabilitated many musicians. Kats claiming that we did not help Fille is b***shit. We have supported musicians in a way that has empowered them greatly, including myself.
