Lolo1 Demands Action from Nigerian Government Over TikTok’s Provocative Videos

Popular Nigerian actress and media personality Lolo1 has raised serious concerns about the kind of content being shared on TikTok.

She says the platform is filled with indecent and vulgar material and wants the Nigerian government to step in and regulate it.

While speaking during a table talk on News Central Television, Lolo1 said sexually suggestive videos are becoming too normal on social media.

She pointed fingers at TikTok, saying the application does not do enough to stop this type of content.

Lolo1 did not just talk about women. According to her, it is no longer just about women wearing revealing clothes, because men are doing the same.

She admitted that sometimes she does not even know where to look when she sees what people wear online.

She also mentioned that it is now too easy to create and access suggestive content, and this worries her.

Lolo1 believes that TikTok and other platforms should monitor their content better, especially because some people use their local languages to say very vulgar things online.

She said it is not just about filtering English words, as native languages can also be used to spread indecency.

Lolo1 even said she has stopped using TikTok because the things she sees there “terrify” her.

She described the application as a “freeway into everything” and repeated her call for some form of control or limits on what can be posted.
