Lydia Jazmine Finally Reveals Her Political Favorite

Ugandan songbird Lydia Jazmine, real name Lydia Nabawanuka, has revealed that her favorite politician is none other than Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, better known as Bobi Wine.

The “You & Me” hitmaker shared the revelation while appearing on Florah Show’s YouTube channel, where she openly gushed about the singer-turned-politician.

Of course Bobi Wine, because he is a musician just like me. We have seen him make it up there, from grass to grace.

Bobi Wine first rose to fame as a musician before venturing into politics in 2017, when he won the parliamentary seat for Kyadondo East.

Two years later, he founded the National Unity Platform (NUP) and quickly became a leading opposition figure.

He challenged President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in the 2021 election but was unsuccessful.

In 2025, he reaffirmed his candidacy for the 2026 presidential race, determined to try again.
