Maddox Breaks Silence on Pride and Public Perception
“I am a man with no problems with anyone.”
That is how Maddox Ssematimba has often described himself. For years, rumors painted him as proud or distant. He heard the talk. He simply chose not to carry it.
According to the veteran reggae artiste, people are free to say whatever they want. Words, whether kind or harsh, belong to the speaker. His peace, he believes, belongs to him. That mindset has kept him steady through decades in the public eye.
Beyond music, Maddox has also spoken about giving young people freedom to choose their own path. He does not believe children should be pushed into singing simply because he did. Talent, in his view, is a gift and never an obligation.
If a child prefers football, books, farming or engineering, he says they should be allowed to pursue it fully.
Over time, many have come to see a different side of him. Not a man driven by ego, but one grounded in quiet confidence and personal peace.
I take my time releasing songs because I have many projects that require my attention and time. Besides, music is here forever. – Madox#SanyukaUnCut #SanyukaUpdates #FfeBannoDdala pic.twitter.com/QCXNb07Q0H
