Manager Explains Why Rema Namakula Performs Less Often

Watching Rema Namakula perform on stage is not something fans get to experience very often.

While many musicians are regularly seen performing on different stages throughout the year, Rema tends to to make fewer public appearances.

That, however, is not by accident.

Appearing on Sanyuka uncut, her longtime manager and former legislator, Hon. Geofrey Kayemba Ssolo, said the approach is deliberate.

He added that artistes who appear too frequently risk reducing their demand.

Every musician needs to appear when they really have to, not just appearing everywhere like soda. Every time you appear too often, your demand declines.

According to Kayemba, Rema’s appearances are carefully planned so that each performance keeps its value.

Rema only has to appear where she really has to. That is why she appears where she is supposed to, where she gives value and also gets it in return.
