Kadongo Kamu legend and politician Mathias Walukagga has come out swinging against claims that he took a break from music after diving into politics.
Rumors have been swirling, with fans and critics pointing to fewer music releases and rare stage appearances.
Many believed the “Ekizikiza” singer had quietly shelved the mic in favor of his political seat.
However, during a tell-all moment on Sanyuka Uncut, Walukagga laid the rumors to rest.
I have never taken a musical sabbatical. I am still an active artiste. Last year, I had a successful concert in Namasuba. Even this year, in October, I have a concert for a song called ‘Wezuule’, which is trending on YouTube. I am very active.
He went on to explain that although his political duties may have shifted how often fans see him, the music fire still burns.
