Mbidde Names Ava Peace as a New Talent He Enjoys
Renowned city politician and lawmaker, Hon. Fred Mukasa Mbidde, has shared which female artiste from the younger generation he believes is making an impact.
Speaking to Sanyuka Uncut, Mbidde mentioned Team No Sleep singer Ava Peace as one of the names that stands out to him.
He noted that while he may not be deeply familiar with her full music catalogue, he knows of her and finds the songs appealing.
Her music, he said, is interesting enough for him to dance to in his personal time.
He also listens to local music generally, even though he does not closely keep track of details about artistes.
Ava Peace. I do not know her music but I know her. She used to sing with Mudra, right? Yes. I find the songs interesting and I dance to them in my personal time. I listen to local music, it is just that I do not follow up much on the artistes.
However, when asked about another rising singer, Gloria Bugie, the politician admitted he has never heard of her.
I do not know her. I have not gotten to know her yet.
