MC Kats Speaks on Fille’s Whereabouts and Her Possible Shift to Gospel Music

In 2024, Ugandan singer Fille Mutoni underwent a six-month rehabilitation program for drug addiction.

After completing the program, she traveled to Rwanda, where she shared her testimony of overcoming addiction and confirmed that both she and her daughter are HIV-negative, despite the father, MC Kats, being HIV-positive.

Since then, Fille has stayed out of the public eye and the music scene, leaving many to wonder about her whereabouts.

That said, Kats recently addressed her absence, explaining that after spending ten years in the music industry without a break, Fille needed some time off to reorganize.

According to Kats, when the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) helped her out of rehab, the initial plan was for her to resume her music career immediately.

However, doctors advised against it, recommending that she first take time away from the industry and experience a different environment to aid her recovery.

As for the rumors about her shifting to gospel music, Kats said it is something that could happen, but the decision is completely up to her.

He also revealed in the interview that, since returning from Rwanda, Fille has been working on some projects with Apostle Grace Lubega of Phaneroo Ministries.
