Mikie Wine Defends Bobi Wine Amid Ssuna Dispute

Singer Mikie Wine has opened up about his bond with his elder brother Bobi Wine, saying that even if they disagree, no outsider is allowed to disrespect him.

In a chat with Shalom on his vlog, Mikie said their upbringing shaped them to stand for each other at all times.

He referred to the Omulangira Ssuna episode at his recent concert, noting that Ssuna bought a table and supported the show, which he appreciated.

Trouble started when Ssuna turned his moment into a political statement, something Mikie felt was unnecessary since the event was not political.

He added that if it had been a political show, several leaders would have attended.

Mikie shared that Bobi Wine has been a father figure in his life, so hearing Ssuna speak in a way that painted his brother in a bad light did not sit well with him.

He wondered why Ssuna relied on gossip to attack someone who had not wronged him.

Mikie said you cannot insult his brothers and expect his affection, stressing that their family stands together in all situations.

Ssuna also said in an interview that he performed his role at the concert and had no control over how Bobi Wine received it.

He admitted Bobi has influence and claimed bloggers misinterpreted his intentions.
