Kiromo Teenz (Ug), Pace Teenz (Kenya), Miss Senior High School (Ghana), NBS Plus (Ug), and High School Trace TV have officially unveiled the inaugural edition of Miss High School Africa 2026, a continental initiative that will bring together Africa’s brightest and most promising high school girls on one stage.
Scheduled to take place on Saturday, 9 May 2026, at Lugogo in Kampala, Uganda, the event marks the beginning of a new chapter in youth empowerment, leadership, and cultural unity across the continent.
Miss High School Africa has been created as a prestigious platform to celebrate and nurture young African women who demonstrate excellence not only in appearance, but also in intelligence, confidence, leadership, and cultural pride.
The initiative seeks to give high school students a voice beyond the classroom, empowering them to represent their countries and contribute meaningfully to Africa’s future.
The first edition will feature participants from various African nations, each representing her country as an ambassador of youth potential and national pride.
Through a series of engagements, mentorship sessions, and stage presentations, contestants will gain valuable exposure, life skills, and opportunities that will shape their personal and professional journeys.
Uganda’s role as host of this inaugural edition positions the country as a leader in supporting youth development and creating platforms that amplify young voices.
The event is expected to attract attention from students, educators, parents, and youth-focused organizations across Africa.
More than just a competition, Miss High School Africa represents a movement focused on building confidence, promoting education, encouraging leadership, and strengthening unity among young Africans.
This historic first edition will feature participants from countries including Uganda, Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania, Nigeria, South Africa, Rwanda, Namibia, Liberia, Zimbabwe, Senegal, Morocco, Angola, Cameroon, Algeria, Somalia, South Sudan, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, among others.
The winner of the inaugural crown will take on the responsibility of serving as a continental ambassador for young people, inspiring fellow students and promoting positive change.
The event is expected to inspire millions of students across the continent by proving that leadership and impact can begin at a young age.
Through engagements, training sessions, and stage presentations, contestants will gain confidence, exposure, and skills that extend far beyond the crown.
The winner of Miss High School Africa 2026 will not only carry the title but will also assume the responsibility of becoming a continental youth ambassador, promoting education, leadership, and positive social change among young people.
The event is organized under the Hi Skool Kiromo platform in partnership with NBS Plus, Pace Setters Kenya, High School Trace Ghana, and Miss Senior High School Ghana, alongside other partners committed to youth empowerment and development.
