Mudra Credits Abitex for Acidic Vokoz’s ‘Ndi Musoga’ Success
Mudra D Viral fired back at critics who claim his concert did not live up to expectations.
In an interview on Uncut, he dismissed the negative comments as attempts by others to stay relevant.
Despite the mixed reviews, Mudra is confident that his debut show was a success given the tough circumstances.
His concert faced stiff competition from Acidic Vokoz’s event, organised by the highly respected events promoter Abitex.
Both events were held on the same day, with Acidic Vokoz’s show taking place at Cricket Oval, right next to his at Zoe Grounds.
He noted that Zoe Grounds is not as well-known as Cricket Oval, which might have led some fans to mistakenly head to the more familiar venue thinking it was his event.
Mudra acknowledged that clashing concerts can be problematic, as they might create a false impression of rivalry between artistes.
However, he emphasised that his real competition was with the seasoned promoter, not Acidic Vokoz himself.
He praised Abitex’s expertise, making it clear that the credit for Acidic Vokoz’s concert success belongs to the promoter, as he believes Acidic Vokoz could not organise such an event on his own.
