Mun G Reveals Serena Concert Left Him in Debt

Ugandan rapper Mun G may have captivated fans with his massive concert at Serena Hotel on August 30, but behind the lights and cheers, the night ended in debt instead of profit.

He admitted that while the audience enjoyed every moment, the numbers simply did not add up.

The cost of staging a show at Serena, he explained, is so high that it leaves artists struggling.

Mun G even confessed that he would not wish the financial pressure of the music hustle on his own son.

Despite the setback, the rapper is not giving up.

He says the lessons learned will help him stage a better-managed and profitable show in the future.

Mun G also showed support for fellow rapper Fik Fameica, who pulled off a successful concert over the weekend.

He declared that 2025 will be the year Ugandan hip hop takes its rightful place in the spotlight.
