Munyagwa Warns Shs 5 Billion SACCO Fund Could Taint Kasuku’s Image
Former presidential aspirant Mubaraka Munyagwa has cautioned YouTuber Isaac Katende, popularly known as Kasuku, over the Shs 5 billion SACCO fund promised by President Yoweri Museveni to support content creators.
The pledge came during Jazz With Jajja 2 on March 1 at Museveni’s Kisozi ranch in Gomba District.
Speaking on Sanyuka Uncut, Munyagwa warned that public perception could taint Kasuku’s name if the matter is not handled carefully.
He said many people already believe Kasuku personally benefited from the fund, a belief that could create tension when the money is distributed among bloggers and creators.
He warned that such assumptions may spark conflict within the industry and place Kasuku under unnecessary pressure.
Munyagwa advised the media personality to stay focused on his journalism career and avoid being dragged into disputes over collective funds.
He also suggested that if Kasuku meets the President privately, he should request personal support separately instead of tying it to the SACCO.
Kasuku should handle the 5BN carefully, especially when sharing the money, or it could backfire and damage his name. – Hon. Munyagwa#SanyukaUnCut #SanyukaUpdates #FfeBannoDdala pic.twitter.com/VxaRpH7CRZ
