“Musicians Are More Powerful Than Politicians,” Nina Roz Makes Her Political Case
In recent years, Uganda has witnessed a growing wave of entertainers, especially musicians, transitioning from merely commenting on politics to actively participating in it.
Despite this increased involvement, many still question and underestimate their ability to lead or influence policy.
Challenging that notion is singer and songwriter Nina Roz, who believes such doubts are completely misplaced.
In a recent interview with Sanyuka TV, the aspiring Sembabule Woman MP for 2026 made a compelling case for the political potential of musicians.
“Musicians are more powerful than politicians because we can speak to people in different phases. We relate with people so much,” she said.
She went on to emphasize that the authority, power and influence musicians carry are not entirely self-made, but rather, gifts entrusted to them by God.
