Nandor Love Devastated After Studio Break-In
Ugandan singer Nandor Love is counting heavy losses after thieves broke into her private recording studio in Kampala and stole equipment worth millions of shillings.
The “Echoes of You” hit-maker discovered the burglary on Thursday evening when she returned home from a series of up-country performances.
The intruders gained entry through a side window and made off with high-end studio gear including microphones, audio interfaces, synthesizers, monitors, hard drives containing unreleased masters, and other production tools.
In a tearful video posted on her social media pages, Nandor Love said:
We left for shows thinking everything was safe, only to come back and find the entire studio wiped clean. Years of investment and unreleased music are gone.
Police in Kampala have opened an investigation into the incident, but no suspects have been arrested and none of the stolen items have been recovered.
The singer has appealed to the public, especially second-hand electronics dealers, to be on the lookout for the equipment and report any suspicious sales to authorities.
Fans have shown solidarity under the hashtag #JusticeForNandor, with many calling for better security and insurance support for independent artists.
Despite the setback, Nandor Love says she remains determined to release her upcoming EP in early 2026.
