Nandor Love to English-Singing Ugandan Artistes: “Go Sing From America”
Singer Nandor Love has shared some blunt advice for Ugandan musicians who choose to sing primarily in English rather than local languages.
During an interview with Galaxy TV, the “Mpologoma” hit-maker said that such musicians should simply leave Uganda and sing abroad.
We have musicians who sing a lot of English. They should go and sing from America.
When told that singing in English is something most local musicians resort to in hopes of going international, Nandor Love appeared unconvinced and unimpressed.
She then reaffirmed her stance and clearly stated where she believes such musicians should take their careers.
If they want to go international, they should just go and sing in America, which is international.
