Nasty C Reveals the Real Reason He Stopped Drinking
South African rapper Nasty C has revealed his past struggle with alcohol addiction and why he decided to stop drinking.
The “Send Me Away” hitmaker admitted that he was drinking every single day, at the studio, at restaurants, and even before and after performances.
He said his tolerance was so high that he was always the last one to feel drunk, which he realized was dangerous.
At 28, Nasty C explained that he chose to quit because he does not want to age faster than his years.
He pointed out that in South Africa, people call it getting a “phuza face,” which happens when heavy drinkers start to look 10 years older than they really are.
Speaking in a recent interview with British-Nigerian host Madame Joyce, Nasty C said he gave up alcohol to protect his health, his looks, and his future.
