Navio Brings Hip Hop and Orchestra Together for October Show
Navio, Uganda’s very own hip hop king, is about to drop something totally fresh: the Navio Orchestra Concert, scheduled for October 4, 2025, at the Serena Kampala Hotel.
Known for sharp lyrics and a stage presence that demands attention, Navio is stepping out of his comfort zone by blending his classic hip hop style with sweeping orchestral sounds.
The show will begin at 7:00 PM and promises to be the first of its kind in Africa, mixing African beats with grand symphonic vibes like never before.
Fans can expect a fusion of sounds from East, West, and North Africa as Navio reinvents his biggest hits with a cinematic flair.
Born Daniel Lubwama Kigozi, Navio first made waves as a founding member of Klear Kut, the group that put Ugaflow on the map and earned the first Kora Award nomination for Ugandan hip hop.
His solo career includes hits like “Ngalo,” “Bugumu,” “One and Only,” and the global smash “On and On” featuring Keith Sweat.
With multiple Pearl of Africa Music Awards and African Entertainment Awards under his belt, plus over 30 international nominations, Navio is East Africa’s most decorated hip hop artiste.
His collaborations read like a who’s who of African music legends, including Wizkid, Burna Boy, Sauti Sol, Sarkodie, Ice Prince, King Saha, Jose Chameleone, and Bobi Wine.
For this special concert, fans should expect electrifying performances, surprise guests, and collaborations that could feature global stars.
“This is more than a concert. It is a fusion of East Africa’s heartbeat with global rhythms, all told through the power of symphonic sound. I cannot wait to share this unforgettable journey with my fans.”
With a bold vision and world-class execution, the Navio Orchestra Concert is set to be one of the most talked-about events of the year.
