Navio Confirms New Orchestra Concert in Kampala This August
Navio has confirmed that he will stage another orchestra concert on August 29 this year.
The Ugandan rapper, born Daniel Lubwama Kigozi, says the show is happening because fans keep asking for it.
During an interview with Daily Soup, he dismissed concerns that the concert could struggle to attract crowds since he held a similar one last year.
For as long as the people want it. Fans are fans. Fans are the ones who create the demand. Personally, I can go on holiday, but it is the fans who create that demand.
Navio also noted that many people missed out on the previous show, and this upcoming concert will give them another opportunity to enjoy the orchestra experience.
We had maybe over 700 people. Those people said, “Next time, please next year I need my ticket earlier.” They want their tickets three or four months before to ensure that they can enjoy the show. So it is the demand.
The concert follows his “Navio Orchestra Live” performance held on October 4, 2025 at Kampala Serena Hotel, which came after his 20-year career celebration in September 2023.
