Navio Reveals Where He Stands on Politics and Bobi Wine

Navio and musician-turned-politician Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu, better known as Bobi Wine, have a friendship that goes back years.

The two even recorded a hit together, Badman From Kamwokya, a track that showed how well their worlds blend.

Off stage, their bond is clear in how they support each other, often turning up for concerts and public events.

Now with Bobi Wine on the campaign trail in his bid for the country’s top seat, fans have been wondering if Navio will show up at his rallies.

When asked in an interview, the rapper gave an answer that kept the door wide open.

When he calls me, I am always ready and able, and this extends to any of my friends.

That sounded like a firm show of loyalty, but Navio quickly made it clear where he draws the line.

But politics is something that I do stay away from for obvious reasons. My fans do not want me involved in that, and it is a vibe in general. You have to have the passion for it.”

Still, Navio could not resist adding a light-hearted twist.

With a laugh, he joked about starting a political party of his own someday.

When we start the NavCorp Army Party, NavCorp Party, with our color brown, I will hope that they will also come and support me and come to my political party and support me in what I do for Uganda.

Navio may not be ready to stand on a political podium, but he has no problem showing up for Bobi Wine.

And if the “NavCorp Party” ever became a reality, you can bet fans would show up for the vibe.
