Navio Teases Upcoming Collaboration with Rick Ross and Joint Album with The Mith

Ugandan rapper Navio, born Daniel Lubwama Kigozi, recently shared his thoughts on international collaborations in a media interview and revealed what he has in store for 2025.

He made it clear that he does not focus on or care much about the idea of working with global artistes, dismissing talk that it has taken him so long to land international collaborations.

“I do not care about collaborations. I do not care about international collaborations. Every time I have done it, it has been a natural thing. For me, I get the same pleasure of working with a Bobi Wine as I would with a Jay Z,” he stated.

The rapper expressed full confidence in his craft, stating that he has reached a stage where it no longer matters who he collaborates with, as his talent will always stand out.

“I have worked my way to a point where it does not matter whether I am rapping with Kendrick, Jay Z, or Eminem; put me on a song with them, and you will not know who is better,” he emphasized, stressing his belief in the power of his talent.

Looking ahead, Navio has a busy schedule planned for this year.

He revealed that he has a concert set for the end of September. He further shared that he will be doing an Ugandan tour, before which he will have an American tour and also visit Europe.

Regarding new music, Navio disclosed that he is working on a new album and a joint project with fellow rapper and friend, The Mith, dubbed “The Best of Hip Hop.”

Navio also teased a potential collaboration with American rap star Rick Ross, hinting at a partnership in the works.

“Me and Rick Ross will be in the studio soon working on a track. I cannot say much about it, but there is a partnership happening there,” he hinted.
